October 1, 2023, Herc Entertainment Services hosted their annual industry golf tournament, “The Invitational” at Tierra Rejada Golf Course in Moorpark, CA. There were 144 guests, from studio owners, to studio officials, producers, UPM’s and line producers, along with valued production friends/customers from construction, transportation, grip & electric to locations. These guests work in production of feature-films, episodic TV, commercials, events and music videos.
LA North Studios, Universal Studios, Sunset Properties, JLG, Cinelease, Galpin Motors and TRYSTAR were among the on-course Sponsors. The event featured two Par 3 holes offering a free car with a hole-in-one and another two Par 3 holes offering $25,000.00 for a hole-in-one.
After the tournament, Herc hosted a Cowboy Lunch with tri-tip and BBQ chicken and all the fixin’s and held a raffle where they gave away audio, visual and golf-related gifts.
